We are confident that your children are safe in school during the heatwave this week, and we would like to reassure you that we are reviewing our risk assessment daily and also taking advice from the GLT health and safety team during this time.
However, we know that some parents have expressed concern about their child(ren) being in school all day during the next few days. Therefore, we will permit children to be collected at 1.20pm on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
For those who do not wish to (or are unable to) collect early, the school will remain open as normal and afterschool club will be running as usual.
